Koosar Sports Academy Scores in Jigjiga Yar village!

My name is Abdiqadir Koosar Mahamoud, the founder of Koosaar Sports Academy, the first sports academy in the city located in Jigjiga Yar village. I heard Harhub for the first time from its platform in the social media in particular Facebook. I contacted Harhub, I presented my idea, and I was warmly welcomed.

After that I applied, I become one of the shortlisted candidates. After that we completed the training, I became one of the young people whose ideas were convinced.

Harhub awarded me an equity investment of $8000 USD.

When I have won Harhub investment award, the amount of money was not enough to implement my business. Once again, Harhub helped me to use Tarmiye Crowdfunding platform to fundraise money. I have collected $8000 through Tarmiye and Harhub gave me other $8000 of investment which is total of $16,000 and this is way I to expand my business.

Covid-19 has spread-out around the world and affecting businesses around the world, since the restrictions were imposed, our business was among those the lockdown highly effected and closed and still there are limitations.

Our business was closed several months, then the lockdown was eased with conditions. We started to follow international sports Covid-19 guidelines made by FIFA. We limited the number of players, stopped people watching the matches, we started using hand washing and sensitizers, social distancing, testing temperature and etc.

Big change has come to both my life and my business after the investment. Previously seize of the football ground was very small and now we made a new bigger than three times. The advantages from the Harhub Investment were included that we added cafeteria and shop. The number of staff also increased from 2 to 9 employees.

I would like to encourage the youth to present their business ideas to Harhub. The equity investment I received is more benefit for both yourself and your businesses. I do encourage youth to always present their businesses.
