Project Description

HarHub Accelerator Program, a collaborative innovation program between HarHub, Shaqodoon ORG, and Oxfam, represents a pioneering initiative aimed at igniting the entrepreneurial spirit and fostering the growth of startups within Somaliland. This program stands as a beacon of opportunity, poised to empower 100 ambitious Somali youth by affording them unparalleled Acceleration training, business development services and 30 of them to be provided equity-based investments.

Project Goals

Objective 1: Support the creation of a new breed of start-up, through alternative financing and acceleration program.

Objective 2: Educate, engage and connect entrepreneurs through regular meet-ups and educational experience sharing.

Objective 3: Introduce alternative mid-size financing model, through the development of dedicated locally developed crowd-funding platform and matching equity-based financing for startups while attracting further funds from financial institutions to scale up.
